welcome to a great story of a dog and a man- a tale of love and loyalty.
There lived a man named Robert in this picturesque village surrounded by the lap of nature. Robert is an employee in town next to his village. Robert would catch the rusty old town train to work in the neighboring town office each day. However, one typical day could become a tale of love and loyalty Robert never thought of.
Unbeknownst to Robert, that typical day would mark the start of a special relationship he could never have anticipated and one which was about to transform his life in ways unimaginable. On that star-crossed morning, Robert saw a hungry stray dog on the platforms. This was a heartstring pulling sight.
He could not stand to see the dog suffer any longer. He immediately went out and got some food, then he turned back to the hungry dog. Their connection as instant, as if fate had brought them together.
As days passed by, the bond between them strengthen. The dog waited every day for Robert to return with an excited waggle and huge licks of love. However, one day Robert pulled out of the station and walked up down a busy street. All at once there emerged this mob of hardened looking robbers and they surrounded Robert, telling him to give up his belonging. The atmosphere filled with tension and hostility.
What came after has been the trials of life. All Robert never knew his dog was behind him, always following right where he led. The armed robbers were about to attack Robert when the dog charged them, growling loudly and making the robbers flee. The dog shooed them away though, chasing after the robbers determined to not lose it’s new best friend.
In his newfound purpose, the faithful dog confronted what he considered a common enemy and bravely held off their advances.
Robert marveled at the dog, coming to understand that it guarded him all this time. Robert realized then just how deep that bond went. As Robert had given kindness to the lonely dog, it too could sense something unfamiliar from him as his firry friend chose to bestow its protector duties onto him. Robert gave the dog a warm embrace, thanking him for his heroism now that they were safe. He knelt down to stroke the dog’s fur, reaffirming their friendship.
Robert and the dog were good friends after that, connected by an amazing friendship born through compassion and bravery. Robert brought the dog to his home where he could experience what real love and care is. In response the dog gave Robert his unflinching, wholehearted loyalty and an amazing amount of love.
So, therein lies a tale of compassion and companionship as two lost souls crossed paths on the road, we call life, which taught us just how far simple kindness can go. Along with showing that there really is no such thing as strangers when it comes to the bonds people share.
